A privacy-focused policy for Areté, Beyond the Bedside, Anchor, and Galene. Effective June 15, 2026.

Overview

The Pursuit Health Ecosystem is designed with privacy, security, and responsible handling of personal and health-related information in mind.

Our products support education, reflection, recovery, resilience, performance, and well-being while respecting user privacy and data ownership.

The products are not medical devices and do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency services, or crisis intervention.

Products Covered

This Privacy Policy covers Areté, Beyond the Bedside, Anchor, Galene and related websites, applications, services, communications, and support channels within The Pursuit Health Ecosystem.

Information We Collect

We may collect information that users provide directly, information generated through product use, technical information needed to operate the services, and connected data that users choose to authorize from supported integrations.

Account Information

Account information may include name, email address, login credentials, role, product access, subscription or enrollment status, communication preferences, and account activity needed to provide and secure the services.

Personal Information / PII

Personal information may include identifiers, contact details, profile information, user-submitted context, and other information that can reasonably be associated with an individual.

Personal information, wearable information, recovery information, and health-related information are never sold and are never shared with advertisers.

Reflections and Journaling

Some products may allow users to enter reflections, journaling, mood, stress, recovery, training, identity, resilience, or personal development notes. This information is used to provide user-requested product functionality and related insights.

Community Content

Community features, where available, may collect posts, comments, profile display information, reactions, or other content users choose to share. Users should avoid posting sensitive information they do not want visible to other authorized community participants.

Supporter Information

Anchor and related experiences may include supporter, accountability partner, coach, clinician, or administrator information when a user chooses to invite or interact with another person through the service.

Wearable Data

Wearable data may include sleep, recovery, readiness, heart rate, HRV, activity, strain, workout, respiratory, temperature, or related wellness signals, depending on the device or integration a user connects.

Apple Health, WHOOP, and other wearable data are used solely to provide user-requested functionality and insights within the products.

Apple Health Data

If a user authorizes Apple Health access, the products may read the specific categories of Apple Health data the user permits for product features such as training, recovery, wellness, or insight generation.

Apple Health data is not used for advertising, marketing, or data brokerage.

WHOOP Data

If a user connects WHOOP, the products may use authorized WHOOP data such as recovery, sleep, strain, workouts, and related signals to provide requested performance, recovery, resilience, and well-being insights.

Health and Wellness Information

Users may choose to provide health-related, wellness, recovery, mental performance, training, stress, sleep, or lifestyle information. This information is handled with a privacy-focused approach and used to support the experience requested by the user.

Analytics and Diagnostics

We may collect limited analytics, logs, device information, error reports, and diagnostics to maintain reliability, improve performance, detect abuse, and understand whether core product experiences are working as intended.

How Information Is Used

Information may be used to create and maintain accounts, deliver product features, generate user-requested insights, personalize experiences, provide support, improve reliability, protect the services, communicate with users, and satisfy legal or security obligations.

How Information Is Shared

Information may be shared with service providers who help operate the products, with authorized coaches, clinicians, supporters, organizations, or community participants when enabled by the product context, when required by law, or when needed to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell personal information, wearable information, recovery information, or health-related information, and we do not share that information with advertisers.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the services, maintain records, support security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and honor user choices. Retention periods may vary by product, account status, enterprise context, and data type.

Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information by emailing Jenn.Walsh.btb@gmail.com. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, billing, audit, fraud prevention, dispute, backup, or compliance purposes.

Security Practices

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, and alteration. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but security and responsible data handling are core design priorities.

HIPAA-Conscious Privacy Approach

The Pursuit Health Ecosystem uses a HIPAA-conscious and privacy-focused approach to personal and health-related information.

Where applicable, the ecosystem is designed with awareness of healthcare privacy principles, confidentiality, and responsible handling of health-related information. Formal HIPAA compliance obligations may depend on customer, enterprise, contractual, and implementation context.

Children's Privacy

The products are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and respond appropriately.

International Users

Users outside the United States understand that information may be processed in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate. Privacy rights may vary by jurisdiction.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the products, legal requirements, or operating practices evolve. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date when appropriate.
